Would IE6 please leave the building?

After - once more - wasting too much time trying to get some CSS to work in Internet Explorer 6, I'm looking forward to February 12th when Microsoft will be pushing Internet Explorer 7 onto corporate desktops. Not a day too soon.

IE 6 is old, buggy and an insult to today's web standards.

If you're still using it you should get rid of it. Now! I suggest you replace it by installing a better browser. Not only will you do yourself a big favor by making your computer much safer, in the long run you'll also make the life of web designers a little bit easier because they'll no longer have to waste their time dealing with obsolete browser implementations.

End of rant.

I simply stopped caring

I simply stopped caring about IE6 users. I write clean & valid HTML & CSS. If it decides not to work in some prehistoric crappy browser, that's just too bad. Even Lynx displays some webpages better than IE6. Writing <-- if[IE] --> is just too much of a hassle.
