Number of items in del.icio.us feeds

A couple of days ago del.icio.us decided to reduce the default number of items returned by their feeds. Last week a feed of a specific tag returned at least 25 items but today only 15 items are included.

I noticed this change because I use some del.icio.us feeds in Firefox' Live Bookmarks to build a nice menu bar. All of a sudden the largest menus were limited to 15 entries.

Fortunately there is an easy workaround. If you want more entries you can append the following to the feed's url:

?count=nn

(where nn is the number of items you want to retrieve)

For example:

http://del.icio.us/litrik/menu+profile

becomes

http://del.icio.us/litrik/menu+profile?count=30
