Performance boost for the iSeries Integrated Web Services server

If your web services on the Integrated Web Services server of OS/400 are running a little bit slow you might want to install the latest PTFs.

Especially PTF SI35245 fixes a serious performance problem:

When a Web service is designated to run under a user profile other than the server user profile, the connection to the remote job that will invoke the ILE program representing the Web service logic is always closed after the request completes. This results in slow response times.

After installing this PTF and redeploying our web services all our SOAP calls are at least 250ms faster than before.
