During MobileCamp Brussels I talked about the fietsknoopunten layer for Layar I have created some time ago.

I have released an open source Twunch application for the Android platform.

I have created a small layer for the Layar augmented reality browser for mobile devices. It shows all known fietsknooppunten in Flanders.

A couple of days ago I have released the very first version of "Which Year?" - an Android quiz application I started working on a couple of weeks ago - into the Android Market.

In order to get the latest ROM (2.73.405.5) on my HTC Hero I had to root the device because HTC only supports ROM updates through a Windows machine.

For a couple of days now I have been working on my very first Android application called "Which Year?".

I noticed that my HTC Hero is unable to connect to my (fairly old) USRobotics SureConnect ADSL Gateway when I enable WPA AES encryption on the wireless access point.

The user guide of the HTC Hero explains that Windows users can do tethering through the (Windows-only) HTC Sync software. I assumed that tethering on Ubuntu would be impossible without rooting the phone - just like any other Android device - but I was wrong.

After receiving my new HTC Hero one of the first things I did was to search for an Android application that uses the built-in GPS to log where you have been. This is very useful when doing outdoor sports like hiking or mountain biking.

I have been using my new HTC Hero (running Android) for two weeks now. Overall I am very happy with the device (both hardware and software) but of course there a couple of (minor) annoyances.
