Earlier this year I started collecting all afvalkalenders for 2010 that people have created and shared in Google Calendar on afvalkalenders.be. Currently the site lists 43 calenders.

ipsCA certificates expired

ipsCA, a Spanish certification authority, ended 2009 with a bang. Their root certificate expired on December 30th and they had to scramble to send all customers new SSL certificates.

Fietsknooppunten in Layar

I have created a small layer for the Layar augmented reality browser for mobile devices. It shows all known fietsknooppunten in Flanders.

Using content-check.pl to monitor a Drupal site

One of the scripts in my bag of tools to check whether a site is still up and running is content-check.pl. This little script compares the hash of a web page against a previously created reference hash. If the content of the web page has modified, this script will detect it and send an email.

Yesterday Google announced Google Wave, a new tool/platform/protocol for communication and collaboration on the web.
